Each year, the Vancouver School District engages stakeholders and the public to provide feedback and inform the next fiscal year’s budget. We gather input through individual meetings with stakeholders and members of school communities and the broader Vancouver public through online engagement.
Community members also have opportunities to attend committee-of-the-whole meetings and make delegation presentations to the Board about the budget. To join us as a delegation at committee-of-the-whole, visit our Budget website for more information.
We are asking members of the Vancouver School District community for their input on priorities for the 2022-2023 budget. Our online engagement offers an accessible opportunity for stakeholders and members of school communities to participate. We recognize the importance of hearing from our community’s diverse voices, and we value your participation in our annual budget development survey.
Vancouverites are asked to share their input via the online engagement from February 14 and February 25, 2022. The survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete and will help the Board make important decisions impacting students in school communities throughout the District.
