Baby Oban and his Mom, Ms. Rebecca come into our classroom once a month for a visit as part of our Roots of Empathy program. We are very lucky to have Ms. Patti Mcvey deliver this program for us!
This week, we began to decorate our Christmas tree. We made candy canes and stars. Next week, we will continue to work on sewing dinosaurs which will go on the tree too.
Each day, students have centres time after they complete a work activity. This centres or play time is a valuable opportunity for students to learn how to share, take turns and interact with others. During this unstructured time is when I see the greatest creativity.
