40 awards $2000 each (tenable at partner Canadian universities)

Amount:
$2000 one-time for outstanding semi-finalists selected by the Regional Committee

Criteria Summary:
SPONSORED APPLICANTS (must be sponsored by Principal or Counsellor; maximum 3 students per school).
Well-rounded students who demonstrate character, promise of leadership and strong commitment to service in the community
Present a minimum cumulative average of 85%. Calculation includes the most recent three years of final grades on the student’s transcript.
Hold Canadian citizenship or residency status

DIRECT POOL APPLICANTS – students may apply independently without sponsorship from the school.  Same criteria applies as above.
