Application Letters
Students who have applied to KPU will be receiving a series of letters through their personal e-mail. Below is a breakdown of this communication and its timing. If your students have not received anything from us and have questions, please have them call: 604-599-2000.

Students are also encouraged to check their status through their online self-service.

KPU Admission Letters: 

• Thank You for Applying (1-3 days after applying)  
• Next Steps (1-2 weeks after ‘Thank You for Applying’ letter) 
• Conditional Offer of Admission (late January) – hard copy by mail
• Confirmation Deposit Received (1 day after payment) 

Entrance Scholarships and Awards

It’s that time of year again! KPU’s Entrance Scholarship and Awards are now open online for students planning to enroll in classes at KPU for the first time in Fall (September) 2017 or Spring (January) 2018. Only one online application needs to be submitted for students to be considered for both the KPU Major Entrance Scholarship and Donor-Funded Entrance Award programs. Students must have a valid KPU Student ID number in order to access the application through their online self-service account.

The application deadline is Tuesday, April 11, 2017.  More information including posters and handouts will be arriving soon by mail or delivered to your school in person. Any questions regarding scholarships and awards can be directed to: Teresa.McLeod@kpu.ca. 

Discovery Days KPU

Discovery Days are a rare opportunity to learn what it’s like to be a KPU student. Activities include:

• A mock KPU class (Science, Business, or Arts option)
• Campus scavenger hunt for a chance to win cool prizes
• Student Ambassador panel for an opportunity to talk to current KPU students
• Free pizza for lunch!

Our next Discovery Days will be held on the Surrey and Langley campuses on the dates below: 

• Friday, February 17th, 2017 – Surrey Discovery Day
• Friday, February 24th, 2017 – Langley Discovery Day
