The Youth Transforming Society (YTS) is hosting their annual event, “Volunteering and Beyond”. This is a great opportunity for students as it will provide them with the chance to get involved with an organization (or many) that aligns with their values and goals.
Last year, over 60 organizations and 400 students came out to this community involvement and awareness night. This year, there will be over 55 organizations in attendance to interact with local youth and students about potential volunteer opportunities. Several community organizations such as City of Surrey, Canadian Cancer Society, YMCA, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, and more will be attending.
This event will be taking place at North Surrey Secondary School, 15945 96 Avenue, Surrey, BC on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. This is a FREE event open to all high school and university students.
