Students who are residents of Vancouver at the time of registration are eligible to apply for VSB Mini School programs; proof of residency is required. Applicants who are not Vancouver residents are not eligible for participation in district programs.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Program Information Evening:<\/strong>\u00a0 Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 6 PM to 7 PM in the school auditorium<\/p>\n

The website contains dates, application procedures, students’ testimonies, photos, and the most popular questions and answers provided by students.\u00a0 If there are questions regarding the program, please email dtodyssey@vsb.bc.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n

VSB Mini School District Registry<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0Students must register in the registry between November 16 and December 17, 2026. In addition to this registration, students are required to submit separate applications to each mini school program they wish to be considered for. The DT Odyssey program will use a digital application process. Please continue to check both the VSB Mini School website<\/a><\/span> and the DT Odyssey website<\/a><\/span> for updates and additional information.<\/p>\n

School Application: <\/strong>The DT Odyssey digital program application is open to the public from 8:00 AM, Thursday, October 1, 2026, to 3 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2026.<\/p>\n

Grade 6 and 7 Report Card Submissions: \u00a0<\/strong>To complete the student digital application package, applicants must submit paper copies of their final Grade 6 report card and their December Grade 7 report card by Friday, January 8th, by 3 PM in the main office.\u00a0 \u00a0Please be mindful of the school office hours due to winter break closures.\u00a0 Main office hours are 8 AM to 3:45 PM.\u00a0 No email submissions will be accepted. Report cards issued by public, private, and district learning institutions are accepted. Please note that report cards from homeschooling programs are not accepted.<\/p>\n

Student Assessment Test:<\/strong>\u00a0 Friday, January 8, 2027, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM, in the school cafeteria. Students are required to bring a pencil, pen, eraser, and ruler. Completion of the assessment test is a mandatory component of the application process. Please note that no alternative dates will be offered for students who are unable to attend.<\/p>\n

Student Interviews<\/strong>:\u00a0 Only selected applicants will be invited via email to attend a student interview, which will take place on Monday, February 1, 2027, from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the school.\u00a0 Please note that no alternative dates will be offered for students who are unable to attend.<\/p>\n

Notification of Acceptance<\/strong>:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 First offers on Wednesday, February 17th, 2027, by e-mail, and second offers on Wednesday, February 24th, 2027, by e-mail.<\/p>\n
