Due date: Friday, November 16.

To start, go to “Post Secondary” which is two links below “Who Am I” on the main menu. You have a choice of Apprenticeship, College & University, and Workplace. You will explore all three, starting with Apprenticeship.

Click on Apprenticeship. Search for specific apprenticeships or scroll down for a list of suggested Apprenticeships. Choose two that catch your interest and complete the worksheet to compare. Favourite your chosen apprenticeships.

Once finished this section, go on to Post-secondary – College & University. Search for specific programs (Ex. “business”) or scroll down for a list of suggested programs. Select two that catch your interest. Complete the worksheet. Favourite your two chosen colleges/universities.

Finally, go to Post-secondary – Workplace. As with the other pathways, select two that catch your interest and complete the worksheet questions using the two workplaces you have chosen. Favourite your two chosen workplaces.

Once you have completed the worksheet, save it (either on your Home drive or your OneDrive), naming it “Pathways_FirstName_LastName”.

Go to your Dashboard on MyBlueprint and scroll down to see the 6 boxes (above) that you favourited. Click on each one and add them to your portfolio called “Career and Education Opportunities”. Then in this portfolio, add a Journal box, title it, upload your “Pathways” file that you just saved, and then write a paragraph which includes answers to the following questions:

a. Which post-secondary pathway did you feel best met your interests, values and personality?
b. Why did you choose this pathway?
c.
