ASSIGNMENT<\/span>
\nThe Workplace Safety Assignment is comprised of two\u00a0assignments\u00a0<\/span>and both assignments are\u00a0mandatory.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Assignment #1<\/span> – Read the\u00a0Safety Orientation Handout<\/a>\u00a0and then print and complete the\u00a0Quiz<\/a>. \u00a0Please submit the quiz to Ms. James’ mailbox.

WorkSafeBC considers Young Workers as people 15-24 years old. YOU<\/span> fall into this age group\u00a0and as a young worker, you:
\n– Have a desire to impress and not be seen as someone who doesn’t knwo what they are doing
\n– Are less likely to ask for help or to question unsafe procedures at work
\n– Are often not given very thorough safety training
\n– Are less likely to trust your gut feelings if asked to do something that is unsafe.<\/p>\n
