Center Time Patterns!
I wanted to share some of the unique patterns students created during center time. Very creative!
Counting Practice At Home
PARENTS OF DIVISION 12,
WE ARE FOCUSING ON COUNTING DURING MATH TIME. IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU COULD PRACTICE WITH YOUR CHILD AT HOME FOR EXTRA REINFORCEMENT.
STUDENTS WILL BE WORKING ON COUNTING BY:
-1S STARTING AT 0 UNTIL 100- FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS
-2S STARTING AT 0 UNTIL 100 (EVEN NUMBERS)- FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS
-2S STARTING AT 1 UNTIL 99 (ODD NUMBERS)- FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS
-5S STARTING AT 5 UNTIL 100- FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS
-10S STARTING AT 10 UNTIL 100- FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS
-10S STARTING AT 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, AND 9- FORWARDS AND BACKWARDS
FOR NOW I’M PROVIDING “HUNDREDS BOARDS” (SHOWN BELOW) FOR HELP UNTIL STUDENTS ARE COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO COUNT ON THEIR OWN. YOU CAN EASILY MAKE YOUR OWN “HUNDREDS BOARD” FOR USING AT HOME OR I CAN GIVE YOU A PHOTOCOPY OF ONE. PLEASE SEE ME IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
