Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
This week’s buddy class time was spent making giant snowflakes! They are absolutely beautiful and we are getting lots of compliments from people passing by our classroom.
Classroom Art Materials Needed Please!
Parents and students, if you can, please bring some empty clean baby food jars (with the lids) AND any clean plastic shopping bags you have at home. We need these items for our Art classes.

Origami Lesson
Enrico was the teacher today! Enrico taught the class how to make an origami bird. First, he gave everyone special origami paper he bought from a Japanese store. Then, he showed us how to fold the paper step by step. Enrico was very patient and checked everyone’s folds to make sure they were right before he explained the next step. At the end, everyone had successfully made an origami bird. Thanks Enrico! We had so much fun!
Sunset Community in the Rain
“Sunset Community in the Rain” is the title of our November hallway art. We drew pictures of Sunset Community in washable markers and then painted our art with water. The effect causes the art to look like a rainy day.
Remembrance Day Art
For Remembrance Day this year the class painted Flanders Fields. The crosses were made with masking tape which resisted the paint and left them white.
