Thanks to an anonymous donor we were gifted a field trip to Granville Island for the Vancouver Children’s Festival (bus and tickets).  We took a bus to the festival to see the Jocelyn Petite Band play celtic instruments, dance, and sing.  Afterwards we had a picnic and played tag.  Then, we went to the Children’s Activity area for face painting, games, crafts, soccer etc.  We had an amazing time!  Almost all of our students (and volunteer parents) had never been to Granville Island before.  What a special treat!  We plan to visit again next month for our year end field trip to the Granville Island Water Park.  Thanks again to our anonymous donor for your generosity- we had a wonderful day!
