{"id":833,"date":"2020-05-31T15:43:11","date_gmt":"2020-05-31T15:43:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.vsb.bc.ca\/ptlee\/?p=833"},"modified":"2020-05-31T15:43:52","modified_gmt":"2020-05-31T15:43:52","slug":"all-courses-update-june-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.vsb.bc.ca\/ptlee\/2020\/05\/31\/all-courses-update-june-1\/","title":{"rendered":"ALL COURSES &#8211; UPDATE JUNE 1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With the optional return to in-person classes beginning June 1, the instructions for both the in-person AND on-line learning will be the same:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Weekly check-in<\/strong> (\u201cattendance\u201d) \u2013 if in-person, you will be marked present in MyEd when you come to class, while on-line students are reminded to reply via email <strong>by\u00a0Thursday,\u00a0<\/strong>attendance will be entered into MyEd at the end of each week; your online reply to me can be a simple emoji, gif, meme, a simple hello \u2013 I will reply back with a thumbs up (\u201clike\u201d) response to let you know I have checked you off for attendance; if you don\u2019t receive a thumbs up\/\u201dlike\u201d from me within 24 hours it means I have not received your email check-in.\u00a0 Thank you to those of you who have replied with some creative replies!<\/p>\n<p>This week for GEO12, PEPS12, LEAD10, SS10M, SS8M:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>address any previous assignments that still need to be submitted that you wish to be considered for your Term 3\/Final marks<\/li>\n<li>FINALIZE your Digital Portfolio overall \u2013 all assignments need to be visible in the Course Digital Portfolio as well as submitted in the appropriate places (Terms 1&amp;2 = Moodle\/Term 3 = Teams)<\/li>\n<li>FINAL SELF-ASSESSMENT:\u00a0 upload as a PDF on BOTH Moodle as well as TEAMS; your final self-assessment should take into account your engagement (regular communication) and work that has been part of Term 3 (April onwards).<\/li>\n<li>Deadline for all the above:\u00a0 June 1 (soft Deadline)\/<strong>June 8 (hard Deadline)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students will be receiving communication from the school soon regarding year-end details like text book\u00a0 and uniform returns, so keep checking your emails regularly.\u00a0 IF STUDENTS COMING IN FOR IN-PERSON CLASSES WISH, THEY MAY BRING THEIR TEXTBOOKS, UNIFORMS ETC.
