Schools can raise awareness about homophobia and transphobia and celebrate diversity on Pink Day (Feb. 24) and/or Day of Pink (April 13) by planning a Pink Day event: click here for activities, lessons, and videos. Click here for LGBTTQ+ books.
Have you seen Ivan Coyote’s Ted Tx: We all need a safe place to pee? Click here. View the video with your class or at school. Post pink day signs on the boys and girls washrooms saying, ‘Trans people welcome.’ Help make schools feel safer and more welcoming for trans students.
