\nYouthPolitik is the City of Vancouver’s civic education & youth leadership development program. The next full 3\u00bd month long semester will take place from March 17th – June 9th 2011. The program is FREE <\/strong>and dinners are provided<\/strong>. During the semester, 80 young Vancouverites (like you!) take part in weekly Thursday evening sessions (plus a few extra special events on other days). Together, they explore how local governance works; discuss important issues facing our city; enhance leadership skills; role-play City Council, Park Board and School Board; and meet & work with elected officials, City staff & other community leaders.<\/p>\n
