{"id":11630,"date":"2023-02-16T15:26:13","date_gmt":"2023-02-16T22:26:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.vsb.bc.ca\/pkwon\/?p=11630"},"modified":"2023-02-16T15:28:27","modified_gmt":"2023-02-16T22:28:27","slug":"11630","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.vsb.bc.ca\/pkwon\/2023\/02\/16\/11630\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<div>ASSIGNMENT IS TO BE SUBMITTED ON TEAMS:<\/div>\n<div>Each student has received a type of poem to define and present to the class on <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;color: #ff6600\"><strong>Tuesday, February 21st<\/strong><\/span>.<\/div>\n<div>It is to be presented in a Powerpoint or PDF format&#8230;two slides minimum<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Required elements:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Slide 1<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>type of poem assigned (title)<\/li>\n<li>origins<\/li>\n<li>definition (some will have lots of detail others will not)<\/li>\n<li>source of information at the very bottom in small font that I can check to see the source<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>Slide 2<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>example(s) of the type of poem<\/li>\n<li>if poem is short you must have at least two examples<\/li>\n<li>you must include:\u00a0 title of poem, author, and the poem itself<\/li>\n<li>source of information at the very bottom in small font that I can check to see the source<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><strong>Upload and turn in the assignment on TEAMS before it is your class period!<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Each student will give a quick informal presentation on their poem and examples.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Students must read the poem aloud (or a segment of it if it is a very long poem) and explain why it is a good example of the type of poem\u00a0 by explaining the elements that define it based on the definition from Slide 1<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ASSIGNMENT IS TO BE SUBMITTED ON TEAMS: Each student has received a type of poem to define and present to the class on Tuesday, February 21st.
