Can you say you put good honest work into the project? or not?<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Were you pleased with your final product when you submitted it?<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">What did you learn about poetry?<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are continuing with our essays.\u00a0 Things to consider:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What order are your 3 body paragraphs going to be in?<\/li>\n<li>Introduction paragraph must a clear thesis statement.<\/li>\n<li>Concluding paragraph draws your reader to the same conclusion (your thesis) as you were writing about in your introduction.<\/li>\n<li>You are then working on putting the essay together&#8230;make sure the paragraphs flow nicely together, work on transition sentences<\/li>\n<li>Check your grammar and spelling!\u00a0 This is formal written work, therefore, no contractions or &#8220;I&#8221; (first person) used.\u00a0 Use &#8221;\u00a0 for titles of the stories ie. &#8220;Fish Cheeks&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>First rough draft of the complete essay is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">due at the end of class on Friday, May 6.<\/span>\u00a0 You may want to have it already printed and work on editing and checking grammar and spelling in class.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>On Friday, you will hand in a complete essay.\u00a0 There will be 5 parts\/paragraphs to your essay (Introduction, 3 body paragraphs, Conclusion).\u00a0 You are not limited in number of words, but it should be about 1000 words minimum.<\/p>\n<p>Keep all your paragraphs, drafts, outlines etc&#8230;.you will be handing them back in to show progress throughout the essay writing exercise.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reminder of Vocab Week 11 Quiz on Friday, May 6th<\/p>\n<p>Read\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Animal Farm<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DW:\u00a0 Reflections on your Poetry Collection.
