Thank you to Rita Beiks who showed us the many dimensions of art found at YVR. This year marks the 20th anniversary of Spirit of Haida Gwaii: The Jade Canoe arriving at YVR. The iconic piece is by Canadian artist Bill Reid.

Initially taught by his father Harris Smith, in the Kwakwaka’wakw style, Steve has since developed his own distinct and innovated style. His works are on display in the YVR Domestic Terminal Building.
