Ms. Matheson&#8217;s 1-3 class will start <strong>Wednesday, November 13th.<\/strong> A letter was given to students and sent home <strong>November 5th<\/strong> which includes detailed information regarding what topics will be covered in this new program.<\/p>\n<p>The learning standards of PHE are to improve student\u2019s physical literacy, healthy and active living, social and community health, and mental well-being.\u00a0The components of the BC Provincial core curriculum guiding PHE which will be covered in the <em>Dating Safe<\/em> program are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Healthy choices influence our physical, emotional, and mental well-being<\/li>\n<li>Healthy relationships can help us lead rewarding and fulfilling lives<\/li>\n<li>Advocating for the health and well-being of others connects us to our community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have any further questions, or did not receive the letter, please do not hesitate to email me.
