Google images a cool looking magazine cover of your choice.<\/p>\n<p>2. Start a new file that is 8.5&#215;11 inches in size. This is the shape of a magazine.<\/p>\n<p>3. Paste in the large background feature image. Remember if you take the picture, it is better for your mark (original work)<\/p>\n<p>4. When you add text with the &#8216;A&#8217; tool, it automatically creates a new layer!<\/p>\n<p>5. To add a large square or circle of colour under the text, first create a new layer, add the outline with the selection tool (rectangle, ellipse or free select), then bucketfill the colour you want into it.<br \/>\nBy the end of your project, you should have 30-50 layers and a beautiful, professional magazine cover<\/p>\n<p>** when you SAVE AS &#8211; don&#8217;t put .jpg on it. leave it as .xcf ** this will ensure you save the layers so you can work on it over several classes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How to make a Magazine Cover 1.
