BC Student Funding not on par with Rest of Canada – Letter to MLAs
Last month, Nancy P (JO teacher liaison) helped us discuss funding for public schools. Did you know that BC children are funded among the bottom per child in funding as compared with the rest of Canada?
Below is a draft letter that you can send to your MLA with the hope that they will help make changes to the way our schools are funded and to bring the funding per child in BC on par with the rest of Canada. Please feel free to edit the letter as you like.
With your help, we hope our politicians will act and increase funding for our kids.
