Hi JO PAC
My name is Karen Tsang. I’m writing on behalf of the Vancouver District PAC (aka DPAC).
You can read more about the DPAC here – https://vancouverdpac.org/ – but basically we represent the parent voice at the Vancouver School Board (VSB) level. We work to foster a strong community of school PACs by providing current information about processes, bylaws, and best practices to PACs.
This year, we are assigning a DPAC executive member to each school to act as a liaison. If you have questions about happenings in the VSB, best practices for a PAC or any other questions, feel free to contact me – karen.tsang@vancouverdpac.org
If you haven’t seen it already, our first newsletter of the year is available here and our first DPAC general meeting is tonight at 7 pm at the VSB offices. There will be a presentation by Superintendent Suzanne Hoffman on Student Success. It is also a great time to meet myself and the other DPAC Executive. Childcare is available.
