John Oliver PAC is having a meeting on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, 7-8pm in the Learning Commons at JO. All parents/guardians encouraged to attend!
Ms. Palejko npalejko@vsb.bc.ca will join us to share some info on special education funding changes.
Mr. Wilmann will be on hand to discuss international teachers visiting, school sports and happenings. These meetings are a great way to learn about what’s happening at the school.
Lara Spence will provide an update on the JO Community Bingo fundraising, and the JO Archives project.
Ms. Enthoven will present about the John Oliver Drama Program and the recent 5-night run of Journey to the West. Learn how to get your son or daughter involved next year!
Hear also about changes happening in schools and funding in the Vancouver School Board.
We need some parent volunteers to help a few hours (2-5pm) at DRY GRAD May 15. If your student is in Grade 11 or Grade 12, it’s important you find out more about this event as we plan for next year.
Each year, the PAC organizes a Staff Appreciation Lunch. For 2019, it’s on Thursday, May 16 11:30-1pm. At the meeting, we’ll share info about where you can show your appreciation and drop off food items or $ donations for the lunch.
