{"id":342,"date":"2013-09-25T10:41:02","date_gmt":"2013-09-25T18:41:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.vsb.bc.ca\/jmartens\/?p=342"},"modified":"2015-01-02T09:16:19","modified_gmt":"2015-01-02T17:16:19","slug":"applying-for-current-vsb-postings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.vsb.bc.ca\/jmartens\/archives\/342","title":{"rendered":"Applying for Current VSB Postings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Teachers are able to apply for Continuing and Temporary positions in the VSB using the\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/oam.vsb.bc.ca\/SitePages\/home2.aspx\">Online Application Management System (OAMS)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Note: the VSB has three different posting periods in the calendar year:<\/p>\n<p>The first is the Spring Transfer Process which involves a significant number of postings and extends over a month long period. \u00a0The\u00a02013 Spring Transfer Process had the following three posting periods:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Posting Period 1 open:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2013 May 21 to May 27, 4:30 pm<\/li>\n<li>Posting Period 2 open:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2013 June 11 to June 17, 4:30 pm<\/li>\n<li>Posting Period 3 open:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2013 June 18 to June 24, 4:30 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The second is the Summer Posting Period. \u00a0In 2013 the Summer Posting Period was open from\u00a02013 August 13 to August 19, 4:30 pm<\/p>\n<p>The third is the Regular Posting Rounds which are ongoing between September and March. \u00a0These are weekly posting periods of positions which open on a Tuesday and close the following Monday. \u00a0The first posting week for 2013\/2014 opened on\u00a0Tuesday September 03 and closed on Monday September 09, 4:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p>If you have questions regarding the post-and-fill process please contact the VSTA office at 604.873.5570 or the VESTA office at 604.873.8378<\/p>\n<p>If you require assistance with OAMS please contact VSB Human Resources at 604.713.5170 or 604.713.5171.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teachers are able to apply for Continuing and Temporary positions in the VSB using the\u00a0\u00a0Online Application Management System (OAMS).
