About Fan Expo Vancouver
FAN EXPO VANCOUVER is a three-day pop culture event hosted in the Vancouver Convention Centre on November 11-13, 2016. The event is brought to you by FAN EXPO HQ, the largest pop culture exhibitions group in Canada. Collectively FAN EXPO HQ hosts over 500,000 fans annually at FAN EXPO CANADA, FAN EXPO VANCOUVER, FAN EXPO REGINA, FAN EXPO DALLAS, TORONTO COMICON, DALLAS FAN DAYS, MEGACON ORLANDO and MEGACON TAMPA BAY.

Everyone is a fan of something, and FAN EXPO VANCOUVER is a place to celebrate all things pop culture. Come and get autographs, photos and exclusive inside scoops with celebrities from your favourite movies & TV shows. Watch artists battle it out in our epic comic book Sketch Duels or learn how to sketch from our “How To” workshops. All that’s not mentioning our 100,000 square feet of shopping madness, undoubtedly the best place to buy a unique gift (or treat yourself!).

Volunteering
Volunteering at our show gets you a 3-day pass as well as other additional benefits including, FAN EXPO VANCOUVER Merchandise discounts, volunteering hours and an exclusive volunteering t-shirt!

Who can apply?
Have you been to any of our previous shows or have any volunteering experience? – perhaps you are new to the show or are just a fan of Comics, Sci-Fi, Horror, Anime or Gaming. Regardless, we want to hear from you!

Here’s what we need from you:

• Just 4-5 hours of your time each day of the show
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• 16 years of age or older
• You must be available for an interview and an orientation meeting following your acceptance as a volunteer
