1927 – 1950<\/p>\n

The history of this school begins in 1913 at Britannia High School with the opening of the\u00a0Britannia High School Department of Commerce. It consisted of two classes. By\u00a01932,\u00a0the Department had\u00a0expanded to 9 classes, located off campus at the old Grandview School building.\u00a0\u00a0In 1932,\u00a0the Vancouver School Board\u00a0ended the Department’s connection to Britannia High School and\u00a0reorganized\u00a0the classes\u00a0as a separate\u00a0school – the Grandview High School of Commerce. In 1950, the school was consolidated with Vancouver Technical High School. The old Granville School building was demolished in 1954.<\/p>\n
