In 1913, the high school program moved to General Gordon School (now called\u00a0Sir Sanford Fleming Elementary) at Knight Street and 49th Avenue.\u00a0Enrollment in the high school program continued to\u00a0climb, prompting\u00a0the decision to\u00a0build a new\u00a0high school.
