Named for Sir Matthew Begbie (1819 – 1894), B.C.’s first chief judge of the united colony of British Columbia.\u00a0 Replaced Franklin Annex,\u00a0moving into a new building in September 1930.\u00a0 The\u00a0original ‘Little School’ building, shown below\u00a0was moved to the Norquay Annex grounds.<\/p>\n
