  1. “There Will Come Soft Rains<\/strong>” – Group Qs (All Qs) AND Story Map —> Man vs. Earth <\/a>\u00a0AND<\/span>\u00a0Dear Future Generations: Sorry<\/a><\/span>— Check out this Slam Poems\u00a0<\/strong>both by Prince Ea<\/strong>\u00a0& Consider how they\u00a0connect<\/strong>\u00a0to the story & the themes<\/strong>\u00a0& the journals<\/strong> we’ve been discussing & doing<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Start to review your Qs, story maps & journals<\/strong> – \u00a0March 31st<\/strong> –\u00a0unit test<\/strong>\u00a0on all of the stories. \u00a0There will be 2 parts to the test. \u00a0Part 1<\/strong> – matching\/fill in the blanks – narrative terms & maybe some basics about the stories. \u00a0PART 2<\/strong> – written response – I will be checking for 2 things. \u00a0One is your skills and knowledge of proper writing structure<\/strong>. \u00a0The other is your understanding of the themes of the stories<\/strong>. \u00a0You’ll be writing on one of the themes that has come up in several stories. \u00a0You’ll have to discuss how that theme is shown in 3 of the stories by providing evidence\/examples from 3 of the stories.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Short Story Journals<\/strong> – I will be collecting all 5 journals – March 31st<\/strong>.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5.
