AIDS.org   A website that provides information about preventing  HIV as well as  improving the lives of those living with HIV and AIDS. Under the “Topics” dropdown menu at the top you will find FAQs, Fact Sheets, Basics and Treatment.

AIDS Vancouver Check the Get Informed page. The Facts Sheets in pdf format are FULL of information!

Canadian Aids Society The Canadian AIDS Society has been a charity since 1998, and is composed of over 120 community AIDS organizations across the country. Great research information is available on the drop-down tabs: Living with HIV/AIDS, Prevention and Social Issues.

CBC Digital Archives  Check under “Health” from left menu, or keyword search “AIDS” for many news resources.

National Center for Biotechnology Information, US National Library of Medicine    Information and facts laid out in a single web-page format (American)

RED An organization with the goal of achieving an AIDS-free generation by 2015. This is a great website in terms of interaction and color, as well as information. All thumbnails can be clicked for more information on celebrity involvement, The Lazarus Effect video, etc.

United Nations Association in Canada  Check out “Link and Learn”  from the drop-down menu; in particular “Youth and the Global HIV/AIDS Crisis: A Toolkit for Action”. Also check “New and Events“; in particular “UN Days, Weeks and Years”, then “Annual International Days and Weeks for information on Dec 1.

World AIDS Campaign   Click on the grey tabs near the top for information on World AIDS Day, Key Events, Resources, and specific information for people from different groups including those living with HIV/AIDS, Sex workers, Faith Groups, Youth, etc.

World AIDS Day Website  This site from England not only has facts about  HIV/AIDS, but also has information about the Red Ribbon and other awareness opportunities.

World Health Organization (WHO)  Click on Health Topics, then “HIV/AIDS”. In this section, there is General and Technical information, Multimedia, Statistics, as well as links to various publications and topics.
