Welcome to the page for the Mini 9/10 Inquiry Project!

Research will take place in the Library on April 2 during blocks 2-1, 2-2, and 2-4. We encourage you to use Easybib to keep track of your citations, and we will be showing you how to use the Notes feature in Easybib to take notes. If you have not made an account in Easybib we will show you how. Also, remember that Gladstone now has a subscription to Easybib; you will need to enter a coupon code to access it. Please ask one of the Teacher Librarians for the coupon code if you do not know it.

Here are some questions to consider for research:

Background information

– basic facts about birth, death and childhood

– upbringing (where, by whom, etc.)

– education, training and experience

– who, or what, influenced your person?

– Sponsors or patrons

Achievements

– the name, description of famous works/discoveries

– best known for….

– impacts on society

– legacy (benefits to future generations)
