You have the opportunity to investigate recent academic research about your river.
1. Select a database from Webcat and log in (check with teacher or teacher-librarian for this)
2. Type the name of your river and look at the list of articles. The four academic articles that you select should:
– be recent
– sound interesting to you (read the title and abstract)
– be a primary source (e.g., not an article responding to someone else’s research)
Tip: use the 5-finger rule and evaluate how much effort you would like to invest to understanding the research.
