For Movies:

Internet Movie Database (IMDB)- Movie reviews and more

Rotten Tomatoes – more movie reviews!

Most movies will also have their own “official” site. Check the URL to make sure (the name of the movie should be part of the URL)

Books:

Most authors have a website/blog, so make sure to check by searching their last name. For example, Scott Westerfeld’s site.

Here are some other ideas:

Amazon.com   Although this is a commercial site, there are short summaries/reviews available. Search (at the top) for “books” or “music”

Music:

Musicians should have their own official websites, for example, Avril Lavigne

 TV Shows:

Check out the official site for a particular show, for example  CSI Miami
