For those that have been noticing the piles of old electronic pieces and parts on my desk. \u00a0Or how the schools laminator that had been broken for years and now has found its way to my room and recived a ‘makeover’ into to a thermal transfer machien for working with PCB boards. \u00a0I have to admit that I have a new obsession- electronics.<\/p>\n

After building a few guitars and assembling the electronics I wanted to see… um, not see because I new that if I put my mind to something I can do it, I wanted to build an amplifier and some effect pedals.<\/p>\n

so, I started by building a room in my basment in which I could worked. \u00a0Then amassed a bunch of parts. \u00a0Read bout SAFETY,,, \u00a0as high voltage can kill you!!! and then began.<\/p>\n

this is my first build. \u00a0A practice code ossilator. \u00a0It’s for my father in law Frank who was an stationed way up north in the 70’s liseting to mores code transmissions. \u00a0I wanted to build him this for him to rekindle memories and give him a way to brush up on his skills. \u00a0 I gave him a ‘Key’ a while ago, but with out a way to hear the sounds was not that fun.<\/p>\n

The circiut uses a 555 timing IC and a 9V battery.<\/p>\n
