Name as Art- using layers<\/span><\/h1>\n

(Before we start remember you need to get you form submitted!<\/a><\/p>\n

This intro project is designed to teach you about layers in Photoshop:<\/p>\n

*before we get started: go o your one dive, goto you MA folder you made last class, make a new folder called \u00a0Intro to PS. \u00a0<\/em><\/strong>This is where you will save your work.<\/em><\/p>\n

Step 1: open a new file, 5 x 7\u201d with the Resolution at 150. Use the RGB colour mode.<\/p>\n

Step 2: \u00a0Pour in a colour into the first layer<\/p>\n

Step 3: Create one layer for each\u00a0letter in you name (max 6 letters). \u00a0Press the text tool. \u00a0click it into the picture plane, then type the letter. \u00a0Remember you have to click on the layer you want the letter to go on.<\/p>\n

Step 4: \u00a0Use various tools like transform<\/strong>, warp<\/strong>, opacity<\/strong> and the layer style<\/strong>\u00a0to enhance each letter. \u00a0Please, make the composition interesting through the use of Scale. opacity, shadow, and colour<\/p>\n

Please fill up all the space! \u00a0And make it look interesting- use different effects and tools for each letter- remember this LEARNING!!!<\/p>\n
