{"id":699,"date":"2015-11-28T22:52:48","date_gmt":"2015-11-28T22:52:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.vsb.bc.ca\/cwilliston\/?page_id=699"},"modified":"2018-02-02T21:00:04","modified_gmt":"2018-02-02T21:00:04","slug":"social-studie","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/blogs.vsb.bc.ca\/cwilliston\/social-studie\/","title":{"rendered":"Social Studies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, February 21st, division 4 will have a quiz on\u00a0the Canadian Government with a focus on the Federal Government.\u00a0 You know that\u00a0is quite a tough test, so\u00a0you will need to start studying early.<\/p>\n<p>Everything in the government booklet is fair game, including small details like how many ridings there are in Canada or how long an election campaign lasts.\u00a0 \u00a0You should have\u00a0corrected any errors that you made in\u00a0you comprehension questions while we marked in class so that\u00a0you would have the correct information to study.\u00a0 If you did not do this, or if you missed some sections, it it your responsibility to ask a friend for corrections or ask Ms. Williston to help you.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This test is a mix of multiple choice, true\/false, fill in the blank (no word bank) and sentence answer.\u00a0 You will not have to be able to spell everything correctly, but it should be close enough that it&#8217;s clear what you meant.\u00a0 For the sentence answer questions, be prepared to explain how things work, for example how a bill becomes a law or how someone from another country becomes a Canadian citizen.<\/p>\n<p>You will be given some time in class to study, but do not rely on class time to do all of your studying.\u00a0 It is expected that you will start studying for this test early.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, February 21st, division 4 will have a quiz on\u00a0the Canadian Government with a focus on the Federal Government.\u00a0 You know that\u00a0is quite a tough test, so\u00a0you will need to start studying early.
