About Me

As many of you know, I am a Social Studies and English teacher. I attended The University of British Columbia for six years, where I completed a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in History and English Literature. During my undergrad I specialized in the area of social justice and human rights. I then completed my Bachelor of Education, where I specialized in teaching Social Studies and English. I completed my practicum at Eric Hamber Secondary School. I then went on to become a TTOC for the Vancouver School Board and now have been recently hired on at John Oliver. I am very excited for my future as a Joker!

Hello world!

Hello students, parents, and guardians!

This blog site is for you to be able to check on what’s happening at school in Social Studies 8 and 9 as well as ELL Reading 1 and ELL Social Studies 3. I will post what work each class worked on that day, including attaching any homework for you to access. My hope is that this will keep parents up to date as well as give students a place to go in case they lose something or forget what they need to finish for homework.

Cheers,

Ms Ink
